Echelon Tour Review
February 10th, 2012
Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Oeiras, Portgual – July 8, 2011
By Joana Santos
I saw 30STM two times—the 1st time in Pavilhão Atlântico on 16th December in 2010 in Lisbon, and the 2nd time was at Optimus Alive 2011 on 8th july 2011 in Algés, both in Portugal!
My favorite songs live are “Search and Destroy” and “Vox Populi”. I love the energy of the band in these songs and hearing the voice of Echelon … I can’t explain how I feel when I saw Thirty Seconds To Mars, but I have to say it feels like home! Mars live is the best experience you can have. If you haven’t gone to a show, you don’t know what you’re missing out on!
At a Mars show, you are with your family, the Echelon. You met people who feel the same as you do about the band, and you share dreams, hopes, making friends from another countries!
When the show starts, I swear, in seconds, you really go to Mars! The atmosphere is overwhelming, no words to describe how amazing the Mars shows are. If you go to a Mars show, you will understand us! The most emotional moments were the 1st show I went to on December 16th because I was so anxious to see them live, and the last time on the 8th the moment when they started playing the last song, “Closer To The Edge”. I really felt that is where I belong—Echelon!
Finally I want to say that I’m so grateful to have Echelon and Thirty Seconds To Mars in my life . I’ll never forget what you did to me—I’m a believer. <3
