Matthew McConaughey: Everything Has Shrunk Quite a Bit!

Matthew McConaughey dons a cowboy hat while filming scenes for his upcoming movie The Dallas Buyers Clubat a motel on Tuesday (December 4) in New Orleans, La.

The 43-year-old actor was joined by his cross dressing co-star Jared Leto.

Matthew recently talked about the health effects of losing weight for the film.

“Everything has shrunk quite a bit. … I don’t have the leverage I used to. I have body soreness. But I’m as healthy as can be. My blood pressure, everything’s fine,” Matthew shared.

It was recently announced that the New York Film Critics Circle awarded Matthew for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Magic Mike.

He has raised eyebrows after starving himself for a month to play an Aids-stricken transsexual.
And Jared Leto was looking slimmer than ever as he got ready to film scenes for The Dallas Buyers Club in Louisiana on Wednesday.
The heartthrob looked dangerously skinny as he pranced around in a bathrobe, no doubt in readiness to head to the make-up trailer.

The 40-year-old actor and 30 Seconds To Mars wartbler has shed a drastic amount of weight for the role - much like his co-star Matthew McConaughey.
However, while Matthew has been on a slim-down mission for six months, the My So Called Life star has transformed his physique in little over a month after only recently getting involved in the project.
Jared has not been afraid to pontificate about how he has been suffering for his art, revealing he has essentially starved himself for the past month to play his character Rayon.
Talking about the weight loss, he said: 'Your body goes through weird stages.

'Sometimes it's hard to hold on to water. But for me, it's not about the most weight I can lose, it's more to represent the character.
'Historically, people have done it for pursuit of self, to achieve a meditative state, so I'm hoping for that. It's not necessarily a bad thing.'
Jared was not the only big name seen prowling around the film location however.
For Jennifer Garner was seen walking around in full costume dress on the New Orleans set..
She is playing Dr Eve Saks, who helps Matthew's character Ron Woodroof, a homophobic electrician who begins smuggles HIV drugs that were illegal in the United States at the time of the film is set in the 1980s after being diagnosed with the disease.

What's his diet plan: No doubt Jennifer will be begging Jared for tips after his dramatic weight loss
