Staying in character? Jared Leto wears bright red nail polish as he jets to Dallas Buyers Club set for role as a transvestite

It seems Jared Leto is staying in character for his latest film role - at least as far as his make-up is concerned.
The star was spotted wearing nail polish as he jetted out to New Orleans to play a transvestite in Dallas Buyers Club.
Jared's perfect manicure was clearly visible as he prepared to go through security at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

His tiny frame after losing weight for the role combined with the star's long hair and nail varnish left him looking androgynous.
However he tried to add a bit of macho flair to his look by donning a black woollen jacket, scarf, jeans and combat boots.
Jared has been mocking his transformation for the film, and took to Twitter to poke fun at Kanye West after he wore a leather skirt at the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert in New York on Wednesday.
He said: 'I like a good man skirt! Ok I admit it. I let Kanye borrow my skirt.'

The 40-year-old actor and 30 Seconds To Mars singer has shed a drastic amount of weight for his role as an HIV-positive transvestite - much like his co-star Matthew McConaughey.
However, while Matthew has been on a slim-down mission for six months, the My So Called Life star has transformed his physique in little over a month after only recently getting involved in the project.
Jared has not been afraid to pontificate about how he has been suffering for his art, revealing he has essentially starved himself for the past month to play his character Rayon.
Talking about the weight loss, he said: 'Your body goes through weird stages.
'Sometimes it's hard to hold on to water. But for me, it's not about the most weight I can lose, it's more to represent the character.
'Historically, people have done it for pursuit of self, to achieve a meditative state, so I'm hoping for that. It's not necessarily a bad thing.'
