30 Seconds to Mars: "We've never said this is the end"

Wednesday, Jan 4 2012

30 Seconds to Mars have revealed that they do not have any imminent plans to split up.

However, the group have now clarified that they have no intention of splitting up soon and insisted that they are only concentrating on the "here and now".

Shannon Leto told Kerrang! magazine: "We've never said this is 'the end'."

Jared added: "But I think there has been a question mark there for all of us. In part because people started to ask us so much about the future and our reaction is, 'Well, let's talk about the here and now'. Which is important to us.

"We don't know what the future has to hold, but we know we're excited about it and this tour has been the gift of a lifetime. It's been a journey that we'll always look back on, as one of the most informative and fulfilling experiences of our lives."

He added: "Over two years we've been pursuing this quest, travelling every continent besides one, playing over 300 shows, winning and losing and fighting and being at peace.

"[We fought] a $30 million lawsuit with our record company, financing an album ourselves calledThis Is War and here we are on the other side."

30 Seconds to Mars concluded their world tour in New York on December 9, 2011, having played over 300 shows across a two-year span.
