Jared Joseph Leto was born in 1971 and grew up among others in Haiti and Colorado. Before he started acting, he worked as a model and studied art, film and video art in Philadelphia and New York. He became internationally known through his role as Jordan Catalano in the American television series "My So-Called Life" (1994-1995), in which he starred alongside Claire Danes. Since then, Jared Leto had e.g. Roles in "An American Quilt" (1995), "Last of the High Kings" (1996), "Urban Legend" (1998), "Fight Club" (1999), "Panic Room" (2002), "American Psycho" (2000), "Requiem for a Dream" (2002) Lord of War "(2005) alongside Nicolas Cage and" Mr.Nobody "(2009). Aside from acting to Jared Leto enthusiasm for music. In the band 30 Seconds to Mars, which he founded in 1998 with his brother, he is a guitarist and singer, writes most of the lyrics and the band has in the videos for the songs under the name of Bartholomew Cubbins himself out directed.
