THE ECHELON WANTS YOUR HELP TO BUILD A LIFE-CHANGING 'MARS' WELL!
Posted

The tireless phan army that backs up the pop-rock boys of megaband 30 Seconds to Mars are always ready to rock out for a good cause. Whether it’s planting trees in Haiti for frontman Jared Leto’s big 4-0 or building houses in developing nations, The Echelon is not messing around when it comes to making a difference.
So we weren’t surprised when Yes This Is A Cult, the same 30STM fan org that founded Echelon Takes Action last year and then hosted a charity: water fundraising project in honor of 30STM's Guinness World Record-breaking 300th show, gave us the heads up that they were once again asking the Echelon community to dig deep for this thirst-quenching, and lifesaving cause.
Yes This Is A Cult gets it: This Is Water. We need it to survive, straight-up, no way around it.  And right now, a BILLION people on this planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. Can’t even wrap your head around that, right? Think about it this way: one human being out of every nine is parched and panicked right now. So it’s super powerful that the devoted followers of music’s most epic Martians are looking to make life a lot easier on Earth by focusing on this water crisis.
The first Echelon Takes Action charity: water drive raised $2,041 to serve 102 people, or 20 families, who needed access to clean drinking water -- and the new effort, launched on World Water Day (March 22), is looking to top that by pooling $5,000 to support 250 people, 50 families, or one entire community in a developing nation. They’ve already gathered $1,623 with 56 days left to go -- now that is a beautiful truth, y’all!
Yes This Is A Cult isn't sure if Jared Leto and co. are aware of this new project but they plan on mailing a report to the band. We have a feeling the band is gonna luv it. And as Jared told us in the interview below, "The Echelon nation out there has made their voice heard again and again and we're so proud that they're able to gather together to fight for a common cause and to make dreams a reality."
Wanna show your support for this give-back get-down? Here are three simple ways:
