Jared Leto Among New Additions to the ASCAP EXPO Lineup

Jared Leto and Nearly 30 Others Added to the ASCAP EXPO

With the ASCAP EXPO just over a month away, we are thrilled to announce nearly 30 additionsto the programming, including musician, actor, director, producer and artist from Thirty Seconds To Mars, Jared Leto. Additional songwriters and producers joining the EXPO line-up are Chris DeStefanoJimmy HarryDavid Paich (Toto) and Nate Walka as well as composers Joey Newman, Atli Örvarsson, Ryan ShoreDoug Wood and Mark Watters. Gospel music legendAndraé Crouch has been added to the panel celebrating the genre, joining Warryn Campbelland James Fortune.

An excellent group of music publishers have come on board for the conference: Sony/ATV’s Kathleen Carey, Ten Ten Music’s Patrick Clifford, Kobalt’s Whitney Daane, Alex Kassner, Thou Art the Hunger and Warner/Chappell Music’s Steve Lindsey, Effusion’s Mike Molinar, MCM Songs USA’s Sherry Orson and EMI’s Josh VanValkenburg. On the record label side, Mike Daly (Disney Records; songwriter; Whiskeytown member) as well as Columbia Records’ Maria Egan have been added. Other industry executives signing on for the EXPO are attorney Ken Abdo, Esq., Broadjam’s Roy Elkins, The Roxy Theatre’s Megan Jacobs, attorney James M. Kendrick, Esq., media coach Gayl Murphy, Kickstarter’s Kendel Ratley and commercial music exec Paul Schultz.

These additions join the impressive roster already announced, including: Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine of The Smeezingtons, Carly Simon, Peter Frampton, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin from The Go-Go's, Desmond Child, Allen Shamblin, Mark Isham, Don Felder (Formerly of The Eagles), Jonny Lang, George Duke, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Walter Afanasieff,D.A. Wallach, and dozens more.
